arrrrggh.

Swearing came as naturally as breathing for some people. In a championship race, I’d take fucking gold. GOLD!.

A small burst of laughter escaped.

She’d been viewing random writing done by a former colleague only a short while ago.

If not for her clogged emails, she’d have responded earlier.

She killed her spear. Its almost acidic taste filled her with ease.

I’ll have to stop one day. Fingers crossed that’s a long way away. Maybe sooner than expected though with the imminent lockdowns and all (funny how they called it national isolation).

She shrugged, skipping past the row of newly constructed homes within the vicinity.

Whyd they have to paint them green? Still….better than Grey. How dreary.

She scrolled through her phone. God. More comments regarding that young woman.

Hasn’t the country had enough already?

She looked to the sky in vain. No help there I supposed.

It had been an mentally tiring day. And she felt drained. Emotions on the verge of being raw.

An assistant at work had pissed her off. Another run-of-the-mill fuck up had occurred basically.

“And we all know who’s ass on the line for that”

Another shake of her head.

She’d gotten weary of that lateral movement.

One day.. I’ll shake more than that.

It brought a smile to her face.

I’m glad I’m home. Atleast for the new few hours I dont have to deal with THAT bullshit at work.

Atleast for now.

Atleast for tonight.

She was about to reach back into her pocket for the rancid cigar butt then though better of it.

I need to cook. God knows its probably three…maybe four days til I get paid, I need that rice to last til then.
